Description & Requirements

Job Description
• Within the guidelines provide by the Supervisor, the job holder is
responsible to analyze, design, install and configure network
infrastructure and application components, and is required to maintain a
stable IT infrastructure and the computing environments for the company
to meet with various business requirements.
• The job holder has to ensure information security and other IT policies are
adhered to when designing and implementing systems, networks and IT
services and ensure proper system controls are in place.
• Provide support to desktops and servers operation in Microsoft
environment, major in servers operation.
• Experience with cloud networking, storage and compute services
• Assist supervisor in monitoring an updating Infrastructure Service request
and incident tickets to ensure the requests can be completed as per SLA.
• Perform new System / PC installation, set up of equipment in the office
and for motor shows, office renovations and etc., and install authorized
software to desktops or laptops as per user requests.
• Maintain IT assets inventory including both hardware and software and
liaise with vendor for quality hardware (PC, printer, routers and etc)
maintenance.
• Perform routine backup of various systems and Execute Disaster
Recovery drills for mission critical systems.
• Source, test and recommend the use of new technology as requested by
users or as new business needs, or as efficiency improvement. Conduct
functional assessment on hardware or software during product selection.
Job Requirements
• Degree holder in IT related discipline
• 3+ years in server support, networking support experience
• Experience in configuration, installation and troubleshooting PC systems, Microsoft Windows, MS Office applications and network connectivity 
• Experience using administrative tools and working knowledge of MS AD, O365 Exchange online, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP 
• Knowledge in remote access including Remote Desktop and Virtual Private Network 
• In depth knowledge in setting up Microsoft Windows Servers multi-user environment and Exchange servers, SQL Servers and IIS would be an advantage.
• In-depth experience in setting up Firewalls, antivirus system and other security systems would be an advantage. • Responsible, accountable, and flexible with result-oriented attitude. 
• Professional Qualifications in Network and Security such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associates), CCNP (CCN Professional) would be an advantage 
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Qualification in Information Security and other industrial standards (e.g. CISM, CISSP) would be an advantage
